Meet Jackie
Jackie Bailey Labovitz grew up in rural Virginia, and graduated with a degree in fine arts. After completing a fellowship at the National Endowment for the Arts, she became an independent art curator. She created collections for embassies, consulates, and corporations around the world.
Lately, Jackie has returned to her roots - literally and figuratively - in rural Virginia. She uses her artistically trained eye to photograph native flora and fauna.
She works without a flash and with a lens that only opens to f/6.3 at 300mm.
